We are all tragically familiar with conflict, wars and struggle. Many have served in combat. Others have watched the news and enough movies to see the horrors that can and do happen in the conflict. But we can also look through history and see how they were sometimes necessary – such as the necessity to force the Nazis to liberate the Jews.
No conflict is more necessary than that which takes place as the Kingdom of Light invades the kingdom of darkness. As we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark, we see that conflict ensue as Jesus invades the fallen creation, oppressed Israel, and the domain of Satan.
