COVID-19 Safety Information

What are the current requirements?

We are following guidelines and recommendations of local government, including thorough cleaning procedures and precautions. At this time we are required to limit each of our spaces to 25% capacity. Please RSVP for each worship service your family will attend.

In accordance with St. Louis County, face masks are required inside the building. If you do not have a face mask, we will provide disposable masks.

What can I expect when I arrive?

  • Please park in the front parking lot and use the main entry (covered entry way)
  • You'll be greeted with a wave from a distance
  • The floor will be marked to direct traffic and encourage social distancing
  • An usher will guide you to your seat in the worship center (there may consequently be a short line)
  • You'll sit with members of your household at least 6 feet from other families
  • Hand sanitizer will be located throughout the building
  • Connection Groups are not currently meeting in the building on Sunday mornings
  • No coffee or donuts will be available
  • The lobby and atrium will be closed before and after the worship service
  • Our security team will ensure the safety of everyone

How can I help my visit go smoothly?

  • Arrive only a little early to allow time to be seated by an usher
  • Pre-register each member of your family via Eventbrite each worship service
  • Follow the directions for parking and entering the building that are on your ticket
  • If anyone in your household has a fever or feels unwell, stay home and watch our livestream online
  • Feel comfortable stepping out of the worship space if your child needs a break (an usher can guide you to a safe space)
  • Download our CanaanStl App to access announcements and connect cards
  • If you choose to give in person, place your gift in the collection bins as you exit the service
  • If you choose to hang out after the service, please follow all recommended social distancing guidelines
