Getting to know each other
We know that meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Canaan a great one!

What can I expect?
How long is a service?
In total, a service at Canaan is about 70 minutes in length. Services begin with a band leading the church in music. The music is a mix of traditional and modern songs played in a contemporary style. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens, so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message.
What's the culture like?
Sundays at Canaan are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest. Dress how you feel most comfortable (jeans and business casual is what you'll see most).
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week—and at Canaan, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children's safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Kidz Connection program. The first time you visit, you'll want to leave yourself an extra 10 minutes to get signed in. Kidz Connection is offered for kids ages infant through 5th grade at our 10:30am service.
